There are certain exercises that can help boost your adrenaline levels. The key idea is to use several muscles at the same time as well as changing the intensity of exercises in short periods of time.

This is why weight lifting is one of the best exercises you can do. Apart from lifting the bar up with your arms, you should do so with your knees bent so this part of your body is also in tension. You should do about three sets of 10 repetitions.

Another good exercise is to cycle or take spinning classes, changing the intensity on your static bike and the speed every 10 minutes.

Last but not least, go Rocky-style and get that skipping rope out of the wardrobe to do thirty skipping repetitions with your legs together.

You can also boost your adrenaline by making some changes in your diet. You may have heard about the Adrenal Fatigue Diet Plan or similar diets. These are designed to help our adrenal glands through periods of very high stress so they don't over-work and produce other secondary effects to our health.

First of all you should know that a good breakfast in the morning will help boost your levels of adrenaline, each a high potassium breakfast with nuts, avocado and berries for a good heads start. Add some vitamin A, B and C to regulate your adrenal glans by drinking some fresh orange juice too.

Other foods that will help boost your adrenaline include, kale, kidney beans, seaweed, squash parsley, celery, shiitake and lean meats that have plenty of protein.

Note that eating five times a day in smaller quantities will also help boost your adrenaline. Try to eat more in the morning and reduce the amounts throughout the day.

One of the teas that has proven more efficient is licorice root, as it has anti-depressant compounds that boost cortisol levels. The amount of vitamin C in Goji berries also make these a very good tea to make when seeking an extra energy boost too.
